One of our professional installers recently completed security cameras installation in North Carolina which is HIPAA-compliant for commercial business.
Planning and Preparation
Our onsite IT support technician North Carolina carried out a site survey visit to evaluate the installation requirements for the security camera installation.
In this process, we strategically identified optimal locations for camera placement and mapped out efficient cable paths. We also assessed the client’s specific needs to recommend suitable security camera brands and features that would provide the highest level of protection and reliability.
This assessment includes the considerations for various mounting options, essential miscellaneous parts, and, when necessary, the installation of security conduits or junction boxes to safeguard wiring.
With our highly skilled security camera installers in North Carolina with industry-leading tools and materials, we were prepared to deliver the surveillance system for the business office environment.
Security Camera Installation in North Carolina
Our expert security system installers marked the predetermined installation points both in the indoor and outdoor area. Placed the mounting brackets to the ceiling and walls. Installed the camera to the mount then routed the cables through the walls and ceilings.
The cameras were then linked to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch, a crucial component of modern surveillance systems. This technology allows both power and data to be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable, making installation easier and reducing the need for extra power adapters or outlets.
Configurations, Testing and Adjustments
After installation, we added each camera to the web portal, assigning appropriate names and locations. We configured the resolution settings and set up recording schedules. Motion detection zones were created to focus on specific areas, while privacy zones were configured to block out private or sensitive sections of the view. For motion alerts, we triggered movement in front of the cameras and confirmed the receipt of email and push notifications.
To test each camera, we viewed the live feed to ensure the image was clear, the angle was correct, and the feed was smooth. We also tested recording and playback functionality by downloading and reviewing event clips.
We adjusted the camera angles and tilts as needed, fine-tuned exposure and brightness settings, and verified that the firmware was up-to-date. Finally, we configured user roles to control access and editing permissions.
This successful installation underscores our onsite IT support team’s dedication to providing outstanding service and dependable security camera installations, customized to meet the specific security needs of our customers.
