Our onsite IT support removed outdated and non-functional IT data cables and telephone wires from the renovated area to eliminate clutter, ensure safety, and prepare the space for updated network infrastructure. Then, they installed a 10U IT rack, two 24-port patch panels, and receptacle boxes to establish a robust network infrastructure in the newly renovated office area. They assembled the rack according to the manufacturer’s specifications and installed shelves to accommodate various equipment. Afterward, they mounted the patch panels securely within the rack to ensure easy access to network connections. They terminated the network cables at the patch panels, following standard T568A or T568B configurations, and labelled each port clearly for efficient identification.
In conjunction with the rack and patch panels, our team installed receptacle boxes in the renovated area to facilitate power connections for various devices. The team assessed the optimal positions for the receptacle boxes and cut precise openings in the walls for installation. We routed electrical wiring from the nearest power source to each box, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes. Then, we securely installed and connected the receptacle boxes, following proper wiring conventions to ensure safety and functionality.
