The second phase network installation project was successfully completed on the business site in Fairfield, Ohio. Delivering a fully configured and tested network infrastructure tailored to meet the client’s growing connectivity needs. This comprehensive job involved the installation of IT cabinet, network hardware, data cabling, fiber connectivity, and wireless access points across a commercial facility.
Our client in Fairfield, Ohio sent a service request to upgrade their network infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the business. Based on the client’s requirements, our onsite IT support in Fairfield, OH will perform the following scope of work:
The installation phase commenced with the assembly and wall-mounting of a 15U network cabinet onto a 4′ x 8′ plywood backboard. It was securely affixed adjacent to the facility’s AC distribution panels.
This cabinet was designated as the centralized point of termination for all network cabling and hardware. Once mounted, all client-supplied equipment was racked in accordance with industry best practices for accessibility, cooling efficiency, and cable management. The equipment installed included:
Cable routing was executed using structured pathways and secured with Velcro fasteners to facilitate both airflow and future maintenance. This rack system provided a clean, professional, and technically sound infrastructure hub to support all network services within the facility.
As part of the network expansion and to ensure comprehensive wireless coverage across the facility, three (3) new Category 6 (CAT6) data drops were installed to support the deployment of wireless access points (APs) in strategic locations:
– One (1) data drop in the office area, positioned to optimize coverage in administrative and common-use spaces.
– Two (2) data drops in the main warehouse area, strategically located to ensure signal propagation across large open spaces with minimal interference and optimal device connectivity.
Each cable run was executed in compliance with TIA/EIA-568 standards. All cables were routed back to the main network rack for termination at the patch panel. Following cabling, three (3) client-provided wireless access points were securely mounted in their designated locations.
A total of eleven (11) pre-installed Category 6 (CAT6) data drops were identified for termination and integration. Each cable was:
All termination and routing procedures were executed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) best practices. Upon completion, all eleven data drops were brought online, with successful connectivity verified at each endpoint.
The network upgrade project in Fairfield, Ohio was successfully completed, meeting all client requirements for performance, scalability, and compliance. The scope includes the assembly and mounting of a 15U wall-mounted IT cabinet, structured cabling for fourteen (14) CAT6 data drops, full hardware deployment, and wireless access point installation.
This installation delivered a robust and scalable network environment, ready to support current business operations and future growth. All work was performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), TIA/EIA structured cabling standards, and industry best practices—ensuring reliability, safety, and professional-grade execution.
