Our team received a service request for data cabling installation in Ellabell, GA, with the following scope of work:
Our onsite IT support in Ellabell, GA arrived onsite and performed the following tasks:
The team positioned the scissor lift to provide optimal access to the cable routing path. They established the vertical cable run from the communication cabinet to the ceiling level, securing the cables during the vertical ascent and maintaining proper bundling to prevent individual cable stress. For horizontal ceiling distribution, they routed the cables along the predetermined path using the structural steel framework. They implemented systematic cable management to prevent sagging, maintained consistent support spacing throughout the horizontal run, and ensured cable accessibility for future maintenance. They grouped all eight cables into an organized bundle and applied appropriate cable ties at the support points.
Terminate the cable using proper Cat6 RJ45 connectors that follows TIA/EIA 568B wiring standard for consistency. Using a Wire Fault Locator made by NOYAFA (model NF-388) network tester, the Cat6 cable was verified for proper continuity, correct pin-out (1 through 8), and signal integrity, all of which PASSED successfully as indicated on the device display.
The team successfully terminated the new Cat6 cable. They labelled the cable accordingly and routed it neatly among the existing infrastructure to maintain organization and accessibility.
The team successfully completed the eight Cat6 cable drop installation. Ensuring all eight network drops were operational and tested according to industry standards. They employed a systematic cable management solution suitable for the warehouse environment. The installation meets all applicable industry standards and delivers reliable network connectivity to the designated workstation areas, while remaining compatible with warehouse operations and complying with safety requirements.
