We installed each cable following best practices for cable management, secured it along the designated pathways and terminated it in compliance with TIA/EIA-568 wiring standards. We then tested every connection using a Klein Tools LAN Scout Jr. 2 network cable tester to verify continuity, pinout accuracy and signal integrity, ensuring high-speed, stable connectivity across all connected systems.
We upgraded all existing Cat5e drops to Cat6 cabling to improve bandwidth capacity, reduce crosstalk, and support future high-speed network requirements. Terminated all Cat6 cable drops to the patch panel and corresponding wall jacks, then labelled them for easy identification. We tested each drop for continuity and pinout using a Klein Tools LAN Scout Jr. 2 network cable tester.
